Seriously. As a photographer, that's my business philosophy. My passion is in helping you capture the vibe, the look, the feel, and the momentum of your work; not imposing my artistic style on you. Whether your business is corporate, entrepreneurial, or artistic, I'm interested in helping you create images that speak to your brand.
If you must know something about me...the first part of my career was spent as a choreographer, teacher, and movement analyst. I ran my own small modern dance company and taught at the University of Nebraska, at NYU, and at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies. I still teach at Marymount Manhattan College in NYC. I am especially sensitive to rhythm and dynamics and will create imagery that is in sync with the pulse of your business or your art.
During grad school, I had the opportunity to work with a company that placed me in temporary consulting positions. This led to short-term (usually 1-2 months) gigs in a large variety of companies and industries. These experiences gave me insight into many different corporate environments and the people who work there. I worked in publishing houses, at ADP, at a metal trading firm, a movie company, at many financial firms and most notably, for an extended time at both the Metropolitan Opera House and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Heaven!
To finance my doctoral work at NYU, I eventually took a full-time job in the financial services industry and worked my way up to become a Vice President of Technology. Although it slowed my coursework to a crawl, working in business and technology became another passion. I worked on Wall Street for almost 12 years...and loved every minute.
Eventually, I evolved my career into something that combined all my interests: art, movement, coaching, technology and business. And that's where we are now...photography. I think of myself as existing at the intersection of art, technology and business.
I am also available for family portraiture. See below for samples of that work. You can find more at www.lindanutter.com
